Back-up truck for USA Network

Live on USA Network for Monday Night RAW. It was a learning experience working with the traveling circus known as the WWE. They have 14 semi-tractors full of stage equipment along with the two production trucks, a satellite truck and motor coaches. All travel as one unit across the country.

Mark Martin invited other NASCAR drivers to come over to Batesville for fan appreciation days. It was very cool to be around the legends. We were doing this for "Nascar Now" show on ESPN. We did most of the show from our location.

Historic Ice Storm

Working with Mike Seidel for the Weather Channel up in Jonesboro. It wouldn't stop raining and freezing on contact. Almost two inches of ice in places. Over 200,000 without power and several deaths from this event. It look like a crystalized world when it finished and the sun came out.
These scenes are from my trip north of the buffalo a few days later. Not shown is the power lines down and millions of trees damaged. I chose the beauty and not the beast.

Hurricane Dolly for the Weather Channel

Weather Channel's Jim Cantore taking time to visit with the locals at Corpus Christi.

We started out covering the storm from Corpus Christi and moved south to Brownsville Texas area of South Padre Island.


The eye wall sit on top us with 100mph sustained wind with higher gust that eventually ripped the roof off our hotel. Parts of the roof crashed into my truck breaking out two windows and leaving some dents and scratches.

Iowa Caucuses for CNN

First days setup in Iowa City for "American Morning" with John Roberts. It was only 20 below this morning (wind chill).Then drove over to Des Moines for another morning show. I didn't have to work the night of the caucus and my hotel happen to be Huckabee's HQ. So I watched coverage from my room until minutes before Huckabee came out for his speech.
